The ISW-4 is one of Bowers & Wilkins most innovative products and enables the home audio or music enthusiast to experience a liquid, audiophile standard of bass response, while also having the luxury of not having to see where it comes from. It's an in-wall subwoofer, that features two large, long-throw 200mm drivers, capable of moving large volumes of air at an outstanding speed, allowing for a deep and controlled low-frequency output.
The ISW-4 required its dedicated 250W Class D amplifier in order to work, this is called the SA250 Mk2, and together, the units produce an outstanding level of immersive low-frequency sound.
SA250 MK2 Subwoofer Amplifier
The SA250 Mk 2 is a rack-mountable Class D amplifier, designed specifically to power and enhance Bowers & Wilkins' in-wall subwoofer models. This subwoofer is required when using either the ISW-4 or ISW-3 in-wall subs and will provide them with an incredibly powerful, yet stable response, allowing these subwoofers to reproduce bass to a superlative level of accuracy and control.
The SA250 Mk 2 can power two in-wall subwoofers at once.
BB ISW-4 Back Box for ISW-4
The backbox is designed to increase the sound insulation to adjoining rooms, while also providing the fire safety barrier sometimes required by building regulations in order to prevent fires in the wall cavity from spreading into the room. Specifically designed for use with ISW-4 in-wall subwoofer.
When used in solid construction, the back box will define an appropriate working volume for the speaker which may need to extend beyond the boundaries of the wall frame.
