The RA-1592 is capable of driving even the most demanding of loudspeakers to their full potential, providing a powerful 200 watts per channel Class AB performance. Rotel utilises a unique toroidal transformer as the key element in the power supply design. This unit also features custom 'slit-foil' storage capacitors and a dual-monoblock topology to ensure a clean, undistorted and high fidelity operation.

In addition to this high-quality amplification capability, the RA-1592's preamplifier element features an audiophile-grade 32bit 768kHz AKM digital-to-analogue conversion chip-set. This DAC and its neighbouring circuitry allow for a huge range of inputs, including DSD-supporting PC-USB (24-bit/192kHz), 3 coaxial inputs, 3 optical inputs, a built-in aptX (CD lossless) Bluetooth receiver, and a front-mounted USB input for Apple devices and flash drives. It's not just a digital beast though, with a range of analogue inputs also provided, including an XLR balanced input, 3 analogue RCA, and a direct connection to the built-in MM phono stage for a quick and easy turntable set-up.
