Peter Tyson Warranty Information
All the information below is valid for purchases made on or after 01/01/2022. For purchases made before this date, the warranty details will be provided on your sales receipt or can be obtained by getting in touch with our Customer Service Department.
Please note: Our free extended warranties are only available for brand new products purchased directly from our website. Any purchase made through any other selling platforms will be subject to the Standard Warranty Period only.
The list below indicates the standard warranty period supplied by each manufacturer along with which products are covered by our free 5 Year extended warranty. In the event of a claim, Peter Tyson provides and administers the extended warranty. This extended warranty is on the same basis and terms as the manufacturer’s original warranty, where possible using the same official service providers, giving you total peace of mind for the extended warranty period. In the event of a claim, please contact Peter Tyson in the first instance. Claims for work done by others won't be accepted unless previously agreed.
Please note: We may run promotions and offer longer warranties than advertised below. These will be detailed on the individual product pages and will also be visible on your order invoice.
Should you wish to contact the manufacturer direct for any reason, we have also provided this information within the associated brand sections.
Any extended warranties offered by Peter Tyson are free. We do not include any form of insurance terms such as accidental damage or loan equipment cover.
Warranties can only be fulfilled to goods purchased and delivered within the UK. In order for us to conduct a Warranty claim for goods taken outside of the UK, the goods will have to be returned at your own expense. Alternatively, you can make the goods available for collection at a UK address. This also applies to goods delivered to shipping companies. Subsequent to a successful warranty claim, goods can only be re-delivered to a UK address.
Free warranties provided for TVs, are provided by the Manufacturer/Supplier, and are bound by their own individual terms and conditions. If you need further clarification, please contact us.
All Peter Tyson Extended Warranties are only valid for the original purchaser and are not transferable.

At Peter Tyson we pride ourselves on prompt, efficient delivery. Please note that the daily cut off time for all next day delivery services is 3pm.
As standard, items are dispatched on a next working day service. If ordered before 3pm, your goods will be dispatched the same day. This is subject to stock availability and excludes weekends. For an additional fee, early weekday delivery options are available. These options are presented at checkout. See below for further delivery options.
Orders placed before 3pm on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday, unless you have selected a weekend delivery option. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will be despatched the following Monday.
Next day deliveries are applicable to the UK mainland and are free of charge unless stated. Orders under £100 will carry a £5.00 next working day deliver surcharge. We do not deliver our goods outside of the UK.
Unfortunately, due to their fragile nature, we cannot accept TV orders for delivery to none UK mainland postcodes - see the list of excluded remote and off-shore postcodes below. All other items to these regions carry courier imposed surcharges of £20 for the first two items, plus £8.50 per additional item* and are subject to a 2-3 working day delivery service.
To ensure reliable, undamaged delivery of televisions - TVs will be shipped with Fedex and for larger TVs, our 2 man delivery service with BJS rather than with our standard next working day courier.
*Where possible, if additional cables or selected small accessories are ordered along with a main product over £100, we will always try to send the additional cables at no extra charge.
Saturday & Sunday Service: Please Note DPD only collect from us on weekdays (Mon - Fri) - We are unable to dispatch orders on Saturday or Sunday.
The order cut-off time for weekend deliveries is Friday 3pm.

Television, Appliances, and Larger Speaker Deliveries
Please note: Large TV, large appliances, and larger floorstanding speaker deliveries are not available to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, and Channel Islands.
BJS - Two-man delivery for large TVs and Appliances
Our larger TVs and large appliances (excluding American Fridge Freezers) are delivered by our two-man, white glove specialist courier to your door - BJS Two-Man.
Your consignment will be sent on a 2 day delivery service (for orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday). Deliveries are made via BJS Two-Man between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00, and are delivered to your door only (ground floor deliveries only).
Upon Despatch, BJS Home Distribution will contact you via email or text to confirm the date and day of delivery. You will receive an automatic 3 hour time slot the night before delivery. The driver will call you 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to arriving on the day of delivery.
Upon delivery, please ensure all packing of items are carefully checked before signing. All damages need to be reported to Peter Tyson within 2 working days of delivery. Once a delivery has been confirmed, if it is then cancelled or if nobody is there to take delivery, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
Deliveries are Monday to Friday only, UK mainland regions only. TVs are dispatched free of charge to UK Mainland postcodes (see below for exclusions) and Large Appliances are charged at £35 per item with BJS.
Please note: We only offer our standard BJS delivery service to ground floor properties and blocks of flats with a working lift that is large enough and has sufficient weight capacity to accommodate the ordered goods. Our ground floor room of choice deliveries can include a maximum of 2 flights of stairs where a lift is not available. Any items which are 85kg or over, will be delivered to ground floor only. Please call us if this affects your order, as undelivered products caused by this problem, will incur a redelivery charge.
Fedex - Free 2 weekday delivery
Generally, television purchases of 50" and below will be transported via Fedex, although there may be some exceptions. All items sent out with Fedex (for orders placed before 3pm) are on a 2 working day service or with the chargeable upgrade to a next working day service for £20 per order. Next working day and 2 working day deliveries are Monday to Friday only. A Saturday service is available for orders placed before 3pm on Friday, charged at £30 (plus £20 per additional item) and will be presented as an option at the checkout.
Fedex will send you tracking information via email which can be tracked online.
Palletforce - 2 weekday pallet service for American Fridge Freezers
Due to their size, American Fridge Freezers are sent with Palletforce on a 2 working day, kerbside delivery service. Delivery is only available from Monday to Friday (there is no weekend delivery option), and the order cut-off time for same day dispatch is 3pm on Monday to Friday (subject to stock). Palletforce deliveries are limited to UK Mainland postcodes only (see Restricted Postcodes below), and delivery is charged at £80.
Appliance Delivery Information
Below you will find the delivery information regarding appliance size/type and geographical location.
Large Appliances - (Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Fridge Freezers etc).
Free Local Delivery Service (Cumbria, SW Scotland and NE England*) 2-3 working days.
Within our free delivery service, we will deliver the product to a valid address and we will carry the product into a room of the customer’s choice providing it is straightforward and feasible safe for us to do so. Our delivery engineers reserve the right to refuse delivery to a particular room if it is not straight forward. In these instances, we will leave the product in a convenient place.
Also, in addition to delivery to these local postcodes we can offer an Installation and Recycling service (Selectable at the Checkout) these are charged at £39.99 for Standard Installation and an additional £20 for Recycling.
Our Installation service:
✓ Disconnect the existing appliance ✓ Un-box the new product and remove the transit bolts ✓ Connect your appliance to a suitable water supply within 1.5 metres of your product and an electrical socket ✓ Connect the waste hose to suitable spigot, down pipe and existing waste connections ✓ Level the appliance and check that it’s fully working and operational ✓ Take the packaging from your new appliance away. If you add recycling to your order, we will also take your old appliance away for recycling
Our Installation Service only includes connecting to existing points and fixings. This does not include installing or moving plumbing, connection points or electrics. Installing new points or moving existing points is the customer’s responsibility we can recommend local tradesmen however this will be at the customer’s expense and we not accept any liability for their work.
Unfortunately, our Installation Service excludes all gas appliances. It is the customer’s responsibility to find a gas safe engineer to connect the appliance. Any work conducted by a third part gas safe engineer will be at the customer’s expense and we will not accept any liability for their work.
We do provide installation options for built-in appliances providing it is simply a case of fitting the appliance and furniture doors. Any additional work to the kitchen units or carpentry work required will need to be completed at the customer’s expense.
In the vast majority of cases we will not be able to install the cabinet doors to built-in laundry products as the fittings very rarely match up. We will try our best however if we are unable to do this we will still install connect to plumbing and put the appliance in situ.
Our Installation prices do not include installation of commercial appliances or installation within commercial premises. These services are available but would be subject to site survey and prices would need to be calculated and quoted accordingly.
We reserve the right to refuse installation should our engineers think that the existing electrical or plumbing points are unsafe and in need of maintenance or if they are unable to install to existing furniture.

This gives the furniture its stability and provides space for entire cabling, integrated power strip, the rotatable TV mount as well as all docks for holding smartphones and tablets. Thanks to the sectioned furniture surface with magnetically attached covers, the compartment is easily accessible from the top. Wiring new devices or replacing a dock is child's play.
Perfect freedom for planning Design and arrange Ameno as to meet your needs. For maximum planning freedom, cabinet frames are available in two depths, various widths and heights. These can be arranged vertically and horizontally as desired.
Flap, door or drawer The fronts are available as a flap, drawer or door and are operated by touch system. Electric-powered drawers are optionally available.
Wall cabinets The cabinet frames are complemented by open and closed wall units. These can be used as storage space, a bookcase or as a decorative surface.
Rotatable television mount A television mount rotatable up to 360°, is also available. The cables are run in the column hidden from view.
Experience freedom like never before. The cabinet frames have a thin outer layer on top, fronts and for room divider models, at the rear. They form the surface of Ameno and can be combined in a variety of ways thanks to a range of materials and colours. The sectional furniture pieces make it possible to create completely new design possibilities.

Glass surfaces in over 2,000 colours Individuality is hip even when it comes to colours. In addition to 5 base and 21 accent colours, you can choose from over 2.000 NCS colours. You can also choose from glossy and satinized glass surfaces. The glass surfaces are extremely scratch resistant and easy to clean.
Wood veneer available in three colours Customers who prefer natural colours, may choose from three different genuine wood veneers in Sand Oak, Indian Walnut and Dark Oak. They are cut using a water jet which offers unrivalled precision and an elegant shiny edge. For added stability, the wood veneers are laminated wafer-thin from both sides on to the aluminium core.
Seven innovative ceramic surfaces In addition to glass surfaces and veneers, you can choose from seven innovative ceramic surfaces: Argento, Pepe, Steel, Oxyde, Nero, Moro and Bianco. They give Ameno a warm and natural look, ensure a sensual experience and are virtually non-scratchable.
Speaker covers available in four colours The perfect companion to the glass, wood and ceramic materials are the fabric speaker covers available in Silver, Grey, Carbon and Black.
VIRTUAL FIRES
Smart Flame: Fire from water With Smart Flame, water is atomized into a fine, dense fog by ultrasound and illuminated by LED lamps. The result is a vivid, three-dimensional flicker like real flames. Realistic crackling and popping sounds can be optionally switched on with both systems.
Advantages over real fires Unlike real wood or bioethanol fires, the virtual fires offer an impressive range of unbeatable advantages: They are safe and suitable for children. They do not cause dirt and odour. There are no costs for firewood. The issue of fuel storage is thus not a problem.
SOUND INTEGRATION
With Ameno, your eyes and ears get their money's worth. This is achieved through three different sound systems. Invisibly integrated in the furniture, they offer an impressive home cinema experience with no intrusive speakers and visible cables in plain sight.
Spectral SCA3 Sound System The smallest of the three sound system delivers voluminous stereo sound with fantastic effects, clearly understandable dialogues and a bass you can actually feel. The integrated Bluetooth 4.0 interface allows wireless music streaming from virtually any mobile device.
Spectral BRA2 Sound System An enormously strong and stable sound system volume level that can be adjusted to acoustically difficult spaces, thanks to an advanced signal processor. For those who want to turn their living room into a home cinema with just one box, the BRA1 is the best alternative.
Spectral VRA2 Sound System 2.57 m of uncompromising stereo and surround sound performance. The sound is captivating lively and harmonious. Bass and base tones work hand in hand to offer a fantastic sound experience. Put simply: the best front surround system money can buy.
How does virtual Surround Sound Work? With the BRA2 and VRA2 Virtual Surround Sound systems, the left speaker, the right speaker as well as the subwoofer (2.1) are integrated in one unit. With the help of advanced sound processing, your ear perceives a surround effect without requiring five speakers and a subwoofer (5.1), as you do with a regular surround system. Thanks to the DTS® Tru-Surround technology there is no need for walls or other reflective surfaces.
MOBILE DEVICE INTEGRATION
Interchangeable and future proof. The Smart Dock or optional Smart Charge Technology (only available with glass surfaces) turns Ameno into a charging station for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. With the docking solution, stored music, photos and videos on your mobile device can be transferred via the dock directly to the television or sound system. With the wireless solution, everything can be transmitted via WLAN or Bluetooth.
Smart Dock Dock and charge. The docking station and accompanying cables are mounted under the furniture’s glass surface. Mobile devices can simply be placed in the recess and are automatically charged. Spectral develops new docks for current Apple mobile devices so that your furniture stays future proof. The docks can be inter- changed easily thanks to their standard size.
Smart Charge Place and charge. You can now charge your smartphone by simply placing it on the furniture thanks to the new Smart Charge technology. Smart Charge works by induction. The charging module is embedded under the furniture surface. Once a smartphone is placed on one of the designated areas on the furniture, it automatically charges.
