Warranty Information

All the information below is valid for purchases made on or after 01/06/2024. For purchases made before this date, the warranty details will be provided on your sales receipt or can be obtained by getting in touch with our Customer Service Department.

Please note: Our free extended warranties are only available for brand new products purchased directly from our website. Any purchase made through any other selling platforms (such as eBay and Amazon) will be subject to the Standard Warranty Period only.

Our warranty table indicates the standard warranty period supplied by each manufacturer along with which products are covered by our free 6 Year extended warranty. In the event of a claim, Peter Tyson provides and administers the extended warranty. This extended warranty is on the same basis and terms as the manufacturer’s original warranty, where possible using the same official service providers, giving you total peace of mind for the extended warranty period. In the event of a claim, please contact Peter Tyson in the first instance. Claims for work done by others won't be accepted unless previously agreed.

Any extended warranties offered by Peter Tyson are free. We do not include any form of insurance terms such as accidental damage or loan equipment cover.

Warranties can only be fulfilled to goods purchased and delivered within the UK. In order for us to conduct a Warranty claim for goods taken outside of the UK, the goods will have to be returned at your own expense. Alternatively, you can make the goods available for collection at a UK address. This also applies to goods delivered to shipping companies. Subsequent to a successful warranty claim, goods can only be re-delivered to a UK address.

Free warranties provided for TVs, are provided by the Manufacturer/Supplier, and are bound by their own individual terms and conditions. If you need further clarification, please contact us.

All Peter Tyson Extended Warranties are only valid for the original purchaser and are not transferable.

2go is a high-performance streamer/server that transforms the Hugo 2 DAC into a fully featured Wi-Fi- and Ethernet-enabled device with up to 4 TB of solid-state library playback, bringing the proven sound quality benefits of Chord Electronics’ award-winning Hugo 2 DAC technology to network audio.

2go benefits from 2x 2 TB-rated microSD card slots for digital storage and playback, enabling Hugo 2 as a high-capacity digital music server (using MPD), in addition to its music streaming abilities. Crucially, when using 2go with Hugo 2, (once charged) all forms of digital playback can benefit from battery power alone, negating the need for external power supplies for the ultimate in purist audio.

2go contains highly advanced miniaturised electronic engineering that, in keeping with all Chord’s amplifiers and DACs, uses proprietary British technology. Adding 2go to Hugo 2, creates the most sonically advanced compact music streamer available today.

Wireless convenience (2.4GHz Wi-Fi and A2DP Bluetooth® wireless technology) combine with the stability and performance of wired (Gigabit) Ethernet connectivity, the latter offering set-up-free plug-and-play operation. 2go is also Roon Ready, offers gapless audio and DoP/Bit Perfect support, as well as being fully DLNA-compliant (server/renderer) and AirPlay-ready.
