AE307²
The AE307² is an all-new, versatile LCR design loudspeaker suitable for small to medium sized rooms and home theatre applications. Featuring new cabinet design and drivers, performance has been considerably improved in all areas whilst maintaining the same competitive pricing as the previous model.
The AE307² utilises a brand-new paper/coconut-fibre bass-mid driver which was developed using research derived from the CORINIUM project. This driver, along with an all-new soft dome tweeter are housed in an inert, slimline 18mm constrained-layer RSC™ MDF/bitumen cabinet – offering a significant step up in both audio and material quality at this price point. The sealed box design utilises a passive radiator to allow wall-mounting in vertical or horizontal orientations. An optional, angled, desk stand is also available to offer the optimum listening position within home theatre installations.
The cabinet is available in a choice of walnut or newly developed ‘silk-touch’ matte black or white finishes featuring a screen-printed logo with trims and grilles which are colour matched for each finish. The new AE307² will easily integrate within any home décor when placed on bookshelves, stands or wall mounted.
Acoustic Energy’s new 300 Series marks a milestone in loudspeaker design. It proudly stands on the shoulders of the Corinium project, utilising its insights to elevate their mid-product range to a level unequalled at the price. No single component has been shared with the previous 300 Series, showcasing a completely new acoustic and aesthetic design from the ground up. This transformative venture has redefined Acoustic Energy’s understanding of speaker design, highlighting what truly matters in achieving exceptional sound quality.
Acoustic Energy’s all-new mid-woofer, crafted with a blend of paper and coconut husk, delivers a smooth, natural, and refined response, embodying warmth and clarity while retaining the punch and pace of their old aluminium cone. This groundbreaking new driver ensures consistent sonic performance across the range. Partnered with a newly developed soft-dome tweeter derived from Acoustic Energy’s Corinium project, it offers open, delicate and natural high frequencies, tonally matching with the mid-woofer to enable seamless integration across the audible range.
A first at this price point, the new 300 Series features constrained-layer RSC™ (Resonance Suppression Composite) cabinets pioneered in Acoustic Energy’s Reference Series nearly 15 years ago. This advanced construction significantly reduces cabinet radiation, allowing the drive units to perform at their best without enclosure interference, ensuring pure, uncoloured, and natural sound.
The 300 series don’t just sound good; it looks good too. Acoustic Energy’s design team have created an aesthetic that blends into modern interiors with subtlety and elegance, including bespoke trims and grilles for each finish creating a more harmonious design language. The cabinets have been slimmed down as much as possible while not adding depth, and in the case of the AE307² transformed to an ultra-shallow sealed enclosure with passive radiator, adding wall-mounting versatility.
In line with latest furniture trends, we’ve moved away from high gloss finishes of the previous 300 Series and chose a newly developed, modern and highly durable ‘silk-touch’ matte material with colour-coordinated trims, solid aluminium feet (on floor standing models) and matching premium grille fabrics. The result is a fresh design statement which remains distinctly Acoustic Energy.
