The Advance Paris X-i1100 is a high-power integrated amplifier delivering 2 x 220W RMS into 8Ω and 2 x 400W into 4Ω. Its selectable High-Bias mode provides Class A-like operation for the first 45W, while a 700VA toroidal transformer and 60,000μF filtering provide substantial power reserves. USB-B, AES/EBU, coaxial, optical, XLR, RCA and MM phono inputs offer extensive connectivity.

Powerful Integrated Amplification
The Advance Paris X-i1100 is a high-power integrated amplifier designed to provide substantial drive and control for demanding Hi-Fi systems. Its Class A/B amplification delivers 2 x 220W RMS into 8Ω and 2 x 400W RMS into 4Ω, providing considerable headroom for dynamic music reproduction and the ability to drive a wide range of loudspeakers.

High-Bias Operation
The X-i1100 features a selectable High-Bias mode that allows the amplifier to operate in a Class A-like mode for the first 45W of output before transitioning into Class AB operation. This combines the smooth, linear characteristics of Class A at lower power levels with the greater output and efficiency of Class AB when more power is required.

Substantial Power Supply
A 700VA toroidal transformer and 60,000µF of filtering provide the X-i1100 with a substantial power reserve. Its triple push-pull output stages use NJW0281G and NJW0302G bipolar transistors, while large heatsinks help manage the heat generated during operation. The internally compartmentalised chassis also separates key sections to help reduce interference.

Extensive Connectivity
The X-i1100 provides a comprehensive selection of analogue and digital connections. Analogue inputs include balanced and unbalanced CD connections, tuner, two auxiliary inputs, MM phono and a direct Amp-In connection. Digital sources can be connected through USB-B, AES/EBU, two coaxial and four optical inputs, while the Burr Brown PCM1796 DAC supports digital audio up to 24-bit/192kHz.

Flexible System Integration
A preamplifier output allows the X-i1100 to be connected to an additional power amplifier, while a recording output provides further system flexibility. Two 12V trigger outputs can also be used with compatible equipment. The front panel features analogue VU meters, adding a distinctive visual element to its substantial 430mm-wide chassis.

Robust Classic-Line Design
Built around a rigid steel chassis with aluminium side panels, the X-i1100 uses five internal compartments to provide additional mechanical rigidity and isolation between circuit sections. With a 10Hz-70kHz frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio above 102dB and distortion below 0.025%, it is designed to combine substantial power with detailed, controlled Hi-Fi reproduction.
