The German subwoofer differs by dynamic and well-elaborated from the viewpoint of low frequencies’ structure sound. The ELAC SUB 2030 is a excellent dynamic qualities, accurate natural attack and the lack of resonances and side tones at any rational volume level. The device perfectly fits the main speaker system and due to smooth regulation of phase it can be seamlessly integrated into a system of any configuration.

CASING DESIGN
The basis of Elac Sub 2030 is the closed acoustic design, which is the most optimal from the point of sound quality. A 10-inch head with the branded design, emitting down, is mounted in a hard case with internal ribs. Among its features I should note a solid basket with the abundance of vent holes and a huge magnetic system. For the greater return there is a supporting plate-divider, which also decreases the influence of floor covering. The amplifying path is assembled here by BASH hybrid scheme (nominal power is 350 W), which successfully combines the sound quality of AB class with the effectiveness of D-class.

BASH AMPLIFICATION
BASH (Bridged Amplifier Switching Hybrid) amplifiers represent a “best of both worlds” solution for subwoofer amplification, combining the sound quality of Class AB with the efficiency of Class D amplifiers. While a Class AB amp uses fixed supply voltage regardless of input signal. BASH uses a modulated switched mode power supply that tracks the input signal, supplying only the necessary voltage to the Class AB amp as needed. The latest BASH technology has gone through three core evolution and is further refined in these latest ELAC Debut subwoofers.

SUB 2030
Elac SUB 2030 is an ideal subwoofer for smaller systems and rooms, the SUB 2030 plays deep, clean and loud, thanks to a 250 mm woofer and ported enclosure. 350 Watts of BASH amplification deliver tight and authoritative bass. It enables the sound to break free from the loudspeakers and fill the entire room. All without the need for additional amplification.

LINEAR RCA
The device is equipped with a pair of linear RCA for the switching with a receiver, one of which is combined with LFE. The possibility of smooth regulation of phase for more accurate setting in a room is among the interesting features of the model.
