GIGAS Series | Design Philosophy
The GIGAS Series takes its inspiration from the Greek word "GIGAS", meaning "giant", which symbolises high output power. This product series was born out of FiiO's release of the JT7 planar over-ear headphones. The JT7 has a relatively low sensitivity and demands high output power from the source device, but source equipment on the market with sufficient power is often quite expensive. To address this, FiiO have tailored the GIGAS Series specifically for entry-level planar headphones from FiiO and other brands, delivering massive driving power at an affordable price-to fully unlock the true sound quality of full-size planar headphones.

The GIGAS 1 is a compact, high-power headphone amplifier specially designed for desktop usage. Encased in a sleek metal chassis, this powerhouse utilises a discrete Class AB transistor current-amplification headphone amp circuit. It delivers a balanced output of up to 4600mW + 4600mW, effortlessly driving a wide range of IEMs and full-size headphones. With dual headphone outputs, dual inputs, two gain levels, dual-mode power supply, and other features, the GIGAS 1 gives you more immersive HiFi listening and audio-visual experiences.

Meticulously engineered with a discrete amplification circuit, it utilizes an op-amp + transistor current-amplification design. The classic combination of onsemi MJE243G/253G classic allows the GIGAS 1 to achieve high-current and low-impedance output. Delivering a massive balanced output power of up to 4600mW + 4600mW, it drives full-size headphones with IEMs with ease - delivering a smooth, natural, and melodious sound.
Dual Headphone Outputs | Seamlessly Compatible
Featuring a 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, it offers wide compatibility with a diverse range of headphones. The 3.5mm jack supports CTIA-compliant microphone passthrough - allowing for gaming voice chat, vocal calls, and multimedia entertainment with seamless compatibility.

Utilising a Type-C port, the system is compatible with both standard 5V power and 12V PD power, automatically adapting and switching between modes. Powering the device via a computer or a 5V adapter is sufficient to drive most headphones. However, connecting a 12V PD power supply fully unleashes the amplifier's true potential - delivering a massive leap in driving power, dynamics, and soundstage to unlock peak performance.
