Consisting of the compact M20 bookshelf and the 71cm tall M40 micro-towers, the M series models boast room-friendly and flexible designs. Whether streaming music, connecting to your TV or playing video games, these speakers deliver powerful and dynamic audio.

C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ driver
The advanced C3 profile (M40 only) combines the bass performance benefits of a traditional straight conic cone with the midrange control of a flared design. By creating a continuous curve profile, Q Acoustics have achieved excellent dispersion characteristics, well-controlled frequency response and seamless integration with the tweeter. Bass dynamics are improved, low-end control is superior, it’s more forgiving of room position too.
High-resolution streaming
M series delivers stunning stereo sound no matter the source. Bluetooth® 5.0 provides rock-solid wireless connectivity and is compatible with aptX™ HD and aptX™ Low Latency technology – so high-resolution sound (up to 24bit/48kHz) can be streamed from any compatible device such as a smartphone, laptop or tablet. Connect to a computer via its USB input for 24bit/192kHz resolution audio.
Built-in amplification
Built-in low distortion Class-D digital amplifiers directly drive the speakers, providing the powerful, dynamic but nuanced audio. On board DSP (Digital Signal Processor) applies equalisation according to the chosen boundary condition, while it’s also utilised to maximise low frequency extension and enlarge the soundstage, resulting in performance that belies the M20 and M40’s compact size.
P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing
Q Acoustics' P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing used throughout the M series supports the parts of the enclosure that need to be stiffened making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid, improving the focus of the stereo image and giving the soundstage more accuracy than ever before.
HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)
Despite only measuring 71cm tall, M40 is, like all floorstanding loudspeakers, vulnerable to internal build-up of pressure that causes unwanted standing waves and colouration. To prevent this occurring, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes are fitted inside the cabinet to nullify internal pressure and improve frequency response.
Flexible friend
These speakers always perform to their maximum, no matter where they are in the room. Designate the powered speaker as either the left or right channel (to make accessing the mains power easier), while an EQ switch lets the system know if each speaker is positioned in a corner, against a wall or in free space so its digital sound processing can temper the bass and optimise the audio performance.
