EH90

High-end Headphone Rig Flagship Pro R2R DAC
Following the praise received by Shanling SCD3.3 SACD player, the market was asking for a standalone DAC to provide the same top level of sound coming from Shanling's flagship in-house developed R2R DAC. The EH line, focusing on desktop and headphone listeners, seemed like the perfect fit for this top-class R2R sound.

Fully Discrete Headphone Amplifier | Advanced MOSFET Architecture
Shanling's engineers proceeded to develop a new discrete amplifier for EH90, optimising it for ideal matching with the R2R DAC, reaching a balance between transparency and preserving the nature of R2R sound.

Built with JFE2140DSGR JFETs managing the input stage and combining IRF530N and IRF9530N MOSFETs for output stage. High current output, stable for a wide range of loads and beautifully natural sounding.

32W Custom Linear Transformer | 10W Dedicated Digital Power Supply
Featuring a dual-power supply, achieving enhanced isolation between the operating and Hi-Fi sections of the EH90 for desired low-noise performance. Further refined and sound tuned by careful choice of filtering capacitors, in total reaching over 12,000uF.

Powerful Balanced Amplifier | Made for Flagship Headphones
Offering up to 5.2W @ 32Ω for high power output, suitable for even the most demanding full-size headphones on the market. No matter what impedance or load it faces, EH90 provides stable and effortless performance for all flagship headphones.

High-end Grade Digital FPGA Assisted I2S Input
Long-term favourite of high-fidelity setups, the I2S connection players a key role in Transport-DAC connection.

And while the EH90 shines when paired with Shanling CT90 CD transport, Shanling are also able to provide the widest transport compatibility among Hi-Fi brands, thanks to the customisable I2S input with 10 different cable pinouts.

Bluetooth 5.4 | Wireless Convenience
For the quick connection to smartphones and tablets, to enjoy the music streaming in the most convenient way, EH90 offers a Bluetooth receiver mode. Simply connect the EH90 as you would do with any Bluetooth speaker to immediately enjoy its powerful DAC, assisted by the premium Bluetooth codecs of LDAC and aptX Lossless.

HDMI ARC Input | Modern Home Integration
Helping to smoothly fit into modern living rooms with their ever-growing TVs and endless supply of video streaming services, EH90 comes with an HDMI ARC input for direct connection to the audio-video setups.

External Clock Input | 44.1 kHz / 10 MHz Compatible
While EH90 features its own highly precise and stable crystal oscillators, performance can be enhanced further when paired with an external master clock.

XLR / 4.4mm / 6.35mm Headphone Outputs | RCA / XLR preamp & Line Outputs
With a wide choice of both signal-ended and balanced outputs, the EH90 pairs easily with a wide range of headphones and fits nicely into bigger Hi-Fi systems. Thanks to the inclusion of Preamp mode, the EH90 can be used directly as a source for active speakers and power amplifiers.

Elegant Design of 90s Line
EH90 follows the rest of the models from the 90s lines and takes over the design from Shanling's high-end SCD3.3 SACD player, with sleek shapes crafted from rigid and durable aluminium. Featuring a panoramic 4.8-inch screen for playback information and direct settings access.
