SM90
Compact New-Generation Design | Advanced Android Streaming Platform | Dual AKM AK4493S DAC Architecture | OPA1612 Analogue Output Stage | HDMI ARC Input | TIDAL Connect & QOBUZ Connect | Internal SSD Slot | Hi-Res 32bit / 768kHz & DSD512
All-in-One Hi-Fi Centre | In-House Developed System
Combining years of development, the SM90 features Shanling’s most advanced streaming system, previously refined in the SM1.3 and SMT1.3 streamers. Built on extensive feedback from Shanling’s international audience and designed for dedicated audiophiles, the SM90 delivers a mature, stable and intuitive platform you can rely on.
Direct Access to Streaming Apps
Enjoy streaming services directly from the touchscreen, with support for Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Apple Music, Apple Classical, Amazon Music, Presto Music and KKBox.
Easy Streaming from Phones & Tablets
Start playback instantly with full support for TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready. For simpler wireless use, DLNA and AirPlay 2 are also supported.
Optimised Local File Playback
Even large audiophile libraries integrate seamlessly with the SM90, whether via external USB drives, the internal SSD slot, or network-attached storage (NAS).
Dual AKM AK4493S DACs | Classic, Rich Sound Tuning
Utilising two AKM AK4493S DACs, a well-proven solution favoured by both audio enthusiasts and Shanling’s engineers, delivering a refined balance of clarity and natural, smooth presentation. Performance is elevated by a carefully designed power supply and OPA1612-based analogue output stage.
Modern Streaming Platform | Reliable System Components
Following the latest generation of Shanling streamers, the SM90 is powered by a 64-bit ARM Cortex CPU, supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage for apps. This ensures stable performance on Shanling’s closed Android platform.
Convenient Menu Structure
Shanling’s UI is designed for fast and simple access to all system levels, with an optimised main menu, settings and playback controls. A reduced, well-structured layout improves clarity and navigation speed.
Instant Music Access
The main menu provides immediate playback control and direct access to your music library, with flexible organisation between local files and streaming services.
Cross-Platform Unification
The interface is unified between the SM90 and the Eddict Player companion app, providing a seamless transition between onboard and remote control.
Multi-Functional Hi-Fi Source | Ready for All Roles
Designed as a versatile music hub, the SM90 includes a range of analogue inputs alongside digital inputs and outputs. It integrates easily with external amplifiers, DACs or CD players for a complete Hi-Fi system.
New Compact Body
The SM90 follows the design language of Shanling’s latest “90” series, including the SCD3.3 and CT90. It houses a full streamer within a compact aluminium chassis, featuring a 1080p 4.96-inch touchscreen integrated into the front glass panel.
Wi-Fi 6 & LAN Port | Increased Connectivity
Supporting both wired and wireless connections, including Gigabit LAN and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz / 5GHz), ensuring stable and high-speed streaming performance.
Bluetooth Streaming | Simple Convenience
Equipped with Bluetooth V5.2, the SM90 can function as a high-quality Bluetooth receiver for quick and easy playback from smartphones and tablets.
35W Linear Power Supply | High-Fidelity Foundation
A linear power supply provides cleaner and more stable power than switching designs. Shanling engineers selected a high-quality 35W toroidal transformer to support a more natural, analogue-like sound signature.
Android Global Lossless Output | True Hi-Fi Output
Featuring Shanling’s AGLO system for bit-perfect audio output on Android, ensuring PCM up to 768kHz and DSD512 playback without unwanted resampling.
Dedicated Crystal Oscillators | Precise Sound Processing
An in-house FPGA system paired with 45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz low-phase-noise clocks improves accuracy and stability during high-resolution decoding.
Internal M.2 SSD Slot | Unlimited Local Playback
An internal SSD slot allows installation of an M.2 NVMe drive directly into the unit, enabling fast, convenient access to large local music libraries.
