Austrian Audio

Austrian Audio was founded in 2017 by a team of 22 audio engineers — representing a combined 350-plus years of experience in acoustics, electronics, mechanical design, and audio testing — who came together with a shared mission: to build a fresh, independent home for Vienna's storied audio engineering expertise. Led by industry veteran Martin Seidl, the team set out to create a modern company rooted in genuine craftsmanship from day one.

The results have shown quickly. Austrian Audio's debut OC818 microphone, built around a handcrafted CKR12 ceramic capsule, launched the brand as a serious contender in professional studio audio, and the company has since expanded into acclaimed headphones and monitoring gear, all engineered with the same rigour that has defined Vienna's audio industry for decades.

Backed by the Vienna Business Agency and headquartered in the city where it all began, Austrian Audio is a young company carrying forward an old, storied tradition — proof that world-class engineering expertise can always find a vibrant new home.
