Blok is a British hi-fi furniture specialist built around a simple idea: the rack or stand beneath your system isn't an afterthought, it's part of the sound. Founded in Essex in 2003, the company built its reputation on the STAX range — a hi-fi stand series so consistently well regarded that it's now in its fifth generation, more than two decades after the original launched, and still recognisable by the same clean, modernist design language.

Every Blok design balances two things that don't always sit comfortably together: genuine acoustic performance and a look that belongs in a living room rather than a server closet. STAX shelves are chosen for their load strength and their acoustic properties as much as their finish, with isolation pads between shelves and adjustable feet to keep components level and vibration-free — all wrapped in a distinctly "uniquely British, elegantly modernist" aesthetic, now offered in oak, walnut, glass, and gloss finishes.

In 2024, Blok became part of the Monitor Audio Group, sharing design philosophy and material expertise with one of Britain's best-known speaker brands — a natural pairing for a company that has always believed the furniture your system sits on deserves the same care as the electronics on top of it.
