The Emotiva BasX A2+ is a two-channel stereo power amplifier designed to deliver powerful, controlled performance for music and home theatre systems. Its refined Class A/B output stage produces smooth, detailed sound, while the heavy-duty linear power supply and oversized toroidal transformer provide ample headroom. With 160W per channel into 8 ohms, balanced XLR and RCA inputs, and trigger connectivity, it integrates easily into a wide range of systems.

The BasX A2+ is a two-channel stereo power amplifier that brings real headroom and control to music and home theatre systems without adding complexity. It delivers 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms, powered by a heavy-duty linear supply with an oversized toroidal transformer and a refined Class A/B output stage for clean, dynamic sound. Setup is refreshingly flexible too, with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, plus trigger in and out for easy integration.

Smooth Class A/B Sound
This two-channel Class A/B amplifier is designed to sound smooth, detailed, and natural, with confident speaker control and no added edge. The A2+ uses a refined Class A/B output stage and wide bandwidth design to keep things clean and composed.

Heavy Duty Linear Power
A heavy-duty linear power supply with an oversized toroidal transformer delivers plenty of current for real-world speakers. The goal is simple: consistent, confident performance when your system starts asking for more, including with 4 ohm loads.

Quality parts, careful internal layout, and solid construction are baked into the design. The heavy steel chassis with a milled aluminium faceplate adds strength and a clean, classic look, and it's built to deliver years of reliable service.

Easy System Integration
Connect to a stereo preamp, surround processor, or any AVR with preamp outputs using balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA inputs, one per channel. A standard trigger input support system control, and the A2+ can also be set to turn on automatically when it senses an audio signal, with automatic 115V/2340V operation for worldwide setups.

Transparent Protection
Microprocessor-controlled monitoring and protection are designed to stay out of the way during normal listening, while guarding against common fault conditions.
