2-WAY BIPOLAR SURROUND LOUDSPEAKER
Aria SR 900 is a 2-way bipolar surround loudspeaker with the same acoustic characteristics as the other loudspeakers in the Aria range.
Associated with floorstanding speakers Aria 936, centre speaker Aria CC 900 and a subwoofer Sub 300 P, surround speakers Aria SR 900 will assure you a reference 5.1 Home Cinema!
Composed of two 5” (13cm) woofers with Flax sandwich cones, it provides natural midrange, rich bass, very high-definition and natural sound.
For the treble register, there are two TNF aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeters with Poron suspension for smoother sound. Their Urethane waveguide improves horizontal directivity and provides a more precise sound image.
Thanks to its slim cabinet design the SR 900 loudspeaker is compact. It is easy to integrate into your interior using the Polyfix wall-mounting system provided.

PORON SUSPENSION FOR SOFT TREBLE
For the TNF tweeter, Focal have brought two major evolutions to their aluminium/magnesium tweeter. The suspension between the dome and its bracket uses Poron, a material with shape memory.
This suspension method is directly derived from the famous Utopia Beryllium tweeter, making it possible to reduce distortion by a factor of three in the 2-3kHz range, where the human ear has very great sensitivity.
The inverted dome’s spatial characteristics and very low directivity already make it greatly superior to the conventional domes used by Focal’s competitors. This guarantees an incredibly stable sound stage which makes the listening position much less critical.
FLAX CONE, SO ORIGINAL
The flax cones are made in France exclusively by Focal since 2013. With their original design, the cone is entirely oriented towards acoustic performance. They are made of high-quality flax fibre enclosed by two thin layers of glass fibre. Flax cones are characterised by their natural sound, with low colouration, their richness of reproduction in the midrange register and their tighter bass.
The lightness of the fibre satisfies the criteria of high internal damping, high velocity, and high flexural rigidity. Flax is twice as light as fibreglass because the fibre is hollow. It also has very low elasticity which makes it ideal to increase the flexural rigidity of a sandwich structure.
