Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm (TPCD)
At the heart of the D1 lies a diaphragm made from Thin-Ply Carbon, an advanced composite used in extreme applications — from Formula 1 cars to NASA’s Mars helicopter Ingenuity. In headphone design, it becomes something entirely new: TPCD eliminates the need for traditional damping at the diaphragm level, enabling faster, cleaner and more accurate performance.
