The -119dB THD+N is in the league of flagship desktop discrete DAC, allowing the DX340 to break through to the new heights for discrete component portable players. The replaceable AMP card with 12V DC-IN enriches the DX340’s functionality and playability and allows the DX340 to output up to 2150mW+2150mW@32ohm.

FPGA-Master3.0 + Dual Accusilicon fs Oscillators | The Upgraded Audio System Controller
The DX340s FPGA-Master3.0 brings together iBasso's algorithm achievements from the past few years and is the reason we have been able to accomplish breakthroughs for our discrete DAC. As the audio system controller, it directly requests audio data from the SoC and plays a major role in signal reproduction and maintaining signal integrity. It synchronizes and generates all audio clocks utilizing two Accusilicon femtosecond oscillators to achieve a fully synchronized single clock source.
Advanced Harmonic Adjustment
The number of LUT units in this new FPGA chip is 7.5 times that of FPGA-Master2.0. This allows the FPGA-Master3.0 to be equipped with our new and exclusive harmonic adjustment algorithm, which makes odd and even harmonics adjustment possible.

The DX340’s FPGA-Master3.0 brings together iBasso's algorithm achievements from the past few years and is the reason we have been able to accomplish breakthroughs for our discrete DAC. As the core of the discrete DAC, the FPGA-Master3.0 generates the PWM signal, which then arrives to the discrete 16 Sets of cascaded 8E PWM-DACs for decoding.

The DX340 employs 16 Sets of cascaded 8E PWM-DACs. There are 4 sets per L+, L-, R+, R-, which is 32 PWM-DACs. The quantity of the DAC exceeds that of other portable discrete DACs by more than 6.4 times. The remarkable integration of accurate decoding and a substantial quantity of extremely high-quality DACs results in a THD+N level of -119dB, significantly outperforming similar open source PWM-DACs (-80dB), clearly positioning the DX340 as a leader in this industry.
Patented Dual Battery Power Supply Structure | Digital & AMP Sections Are Separately Powered
The power supply is a fundamental component that significantly influences the sound quality of the player. When the player operates on a single battery, high load conditions can lead to an inadequate power supply, resulting in additional distortion and a subsequent decline in sound quality.
DX340 features iBasso's innovative dual battery structure, ensuring that both the digital and AMP sections are powered by an independent battery for optimal performance. An independent battery power supply guarantees the stability of the AMP section's power, while effectively isolating electromagnetic interference from the digital section. This significantly mitigates the decline in sound quality that can result from inadequate power supply. Simultaneously, we have enhanced the dual battery structure of the DX340, implementing a single battery indicator for charging and power monitoring. When linked to a USB charger that provides adequate power, the DX340 will override the internal battery system and operate solely on the external power source. The ever-evolving dual battery structure stands as a testament to our unmatched innovation.
Replaceable AMP Card Design | AMP15 With BUF643A x8 Comes as The Standard | Supports 12V DC-IN
DX340 utilizes our replaceable amp card design, which is compatible with the AMP12, AMP13, & AMP14, and will also be compatible with other upcoming AMP1x series AMP cards.
The standard AMP card AMP15 utilizes 8 pieces BUF634 to ensure the high output ability. This new AMP card also supports external DC 12V power supply. After connecting to the DC 12V power supply, the amp power supply will be increased from the default ±8V to ±12V, and the "Super gain mode" will be available, the output power will be up to 2150mW+2150mW@32Ω. The exceptional output power allows the DX340 to drive IEMs and headphones with ease.
