The Kerr Acoustic K400 is a compact two-way stand-mount loudspeaker designed to deliver high-end performance from a relatively small enclosure. Its 150mm sliced wood-fibre cone is paired with a 45mm true ribbon tweeter, combining speed, transparency and detailed reproduction. The K400 delivers a frequency response of 39Hz–45kHz, providing impressive extension across the audible range.

Kerr Acoustic’s transmission line design helps the K400 achieve controlled, extended bass alongside a clear and uncoloured midrange. The speaker uses an 18/24mm Baltic Birch plywood transmission-line cabinet and features a carefully designed 1.95kHz second-order crossover. With 88dB sensitivity and a nominal 6-ohm impedance, the K400 is engineered to provide consistent, accurate performance across different playback levels.

While primarily designed as a compact stand-mount speaker for stereo listening, the K400 is also suitable for surround channel applications. Four M8 threaded inserts on the rear allow for wall or ceiling mounting, offering additional flexibility where space is limited. The K400 is available in real wood veneer finishes, including Oak and Walnut, as well as satin or high-gloss lacquer in any RAL colour, with magnetic grilles supplied as standard.
