The Marantz PM6007 is an integrated stereo amplifier designed to deliver refined hi-fi performance through a carefully engineered Class AB amplification stage. Producing 45W per channel into 8 ohms, it uses Marantz's proprietary HDAM-SA3 circuitry to help maintain a clean, detailed signal. A built-in AK4490 digital-to-analogue converter supports digital sources through its optical and coaxial inputs, while the dedicated moving magnet phono stage allows a turntable to be connected directly.
Alongside its digital connections, the PM6007 offers several analogue RCA inputs for CD players, streamers and other hi-fi components. A subwoofer output provides the option of adding dedicated low-frequency support, while a headphone output allows for private listening. Its Source Direct mode bypasses the tone control circuitry for a more direct signal path, making it a straightforward and versatile choice for a traditional stereo system.
