Tectonic Design and Engineering
The Mark Levinson № 631 represents the flagship of the 600 Series, combining a distinctive Tectonic industrial design with engineering focused on uncompromised audio performance. Its black anodised aluminium and steel chassis is complemented by a silver plinth, a glass centre panel and signature red accent lighting. The floorstanding chassis uses a modular architecture, with critical low-level analogue circuitry isolated from the power supply and key components mounted on rubber supports for improved mechanical stability.
Pure Path Circuit Design
At the heart of the № 631 is Mark Levinson’s Pure Path design philosophy, incorporating a fully discrete, fully balanced and fully differential signal path. The amplifier uses both balanced and single-ended analogue inputs and is designed to deliver exceptional transparency, precise imaging and a deep, expansive soundstage. Power Supply and Thermal Management
