2MR Black
The 2M Black is the flagship of the classic moving magnet cartridges from Ortofon. The 2M black is graced with a Shibata diamond stylus - the same diamond as on the acclaimed MC Jubilee. Its slim, highly polished profile allows an exceedingly wide contact area to the groove walls and ensures notably detailed reproduction throughout the spectrum, including even the most high-frequency groove information.

2M Technology

The 2M Black is available in different versions to suit different applications. The 2M Verso is for bottom-mounted headshells, the 2M Pre-Mounted includes a regular 2M cartridge fitted to an Ortofon SH-4 Headshell, and the 2MR offers a reduced cartridge height for mounting onto tonearms that require a lower ride height.
