Delivering unparalleled sonic performance in it's price category, Q Acoustics believe that these HiFi speakers will set new standards, and can even outperform those that are in a much higher price bracket.
Review magazine WhatHifi state: "The Concept 40 builds on the brand’s strengths to deliver a wonderfully inviting sound". "Smooth, refined balance, Consistency across frequency range, Fine stereo imaging, Surprising sonic agility and composure, Impressive build".
In common with the Bookshelf Concept 20, the new Concept 40’s soundstage, dynamics and sheer musicality is achieved by incorporating outstanding, bespoke drive units into a lacquered, State-of-the-Art, ‘Gelcore Construction’, ultra-low resonance cabinet, which ultimately allows them to perform at its very best.
The drive units have powerful oversized magnets attached to them to lower the cabinet resonance and the tripod stand allows these floorstanding loudspeakers to have perfect rigidity and contact with the floor to enhance its performance.
The aluminium facia plate not only enhances the aesthetics, but also helps to reduce cabinet resonance as it features a butyl clamp.
With a sensitivity of 90dB, and a speaker impedance that never goes lower than 4 ohms, this ensures this Speaker is easy to drive with any good quality amplifier.
With an elegant and individual floorstanding design, available in either high gloss black, or high gloss white, these Loudspeakers really do look as good as they sound.
