SAA7826 + DA11 | Highly Optimised Disc System
Combining the SAA7826 CD system with the classic DA11 optical mechanism, running at standard single speed, the CT90 is fully focused on pure CD playback. It delivers a smoother sound presentation while ensuring highly reliable disc reading and minimal mechanical noise.

MQA-CD Support | Triple Mode Output
Supporting MQA-CD and MQA files, with Full Decoder (x4), Core Decoder (x2) and MQA Source modes for optimal matching with compatible DACs.

Digital Outputs
The CT90 is Shanling’s first dedicated CD transport to feature an advanced FPGA-assisted I2S output, with 10 pinout modes ensuring compatibility with a wide range of I2S DACs. Alongside this is Shanling’s dedicated USB Audio output, enabling direct connection to modern USB DACs. For high-end systems, the CT90 also includes dual AES/EBU outputs, alongside coaxial connections.

Digital Inputs
For added flexibility, the CT90 includes a Bluetooth input mode for wireless playback from smartphones and streaming apps.

It also features a dedicated USB input for direct connection to computers, transforming the CT90 from a pure CD transport into a capable digital audio interface.

Precise Audio Processing
To minimise jitter, the CT90 utilises a pair of high-precision 45.1584MHz / 49.152MHz oscillators, ensuring accurate and stable digital signal transmission.

For seamless integration into high-end systems, the CT90 also includes a word clock input, supporting a standard BNC connection with 44.1kHz and 10MHz modes.

32W Linear Power Supply
Featuring a Hi-Fi-grade transformer, the CT90 employs a linear power supply for refined audio performance. It outperforms typical switch-mode supplies in terms of noise reduction and overall smoothness, while offering ample power reserves.

Tuned CD Puck | Top-Loading Design
Following the approach of high-end CD players, the CT90 adopts an independent CD puck system. Carefully optimised to reduce vibration and improve reading precision, it is paired with a tilting CD cover for a smooth top-loading experience.

Dedicated Upsampling System | All-to-PCM & All-to-DSD
Using the dedicated CT7302 upsampling chipset, the CT90 can reshape the digital signal for optimal delivery to connected DACs, supporting both PCM and DSD conversion.

USB Drive Playback | Unlock Full Hi-Res
Connect a USB drive loaded with your music library to transform the CT90 into a simplified digital source. Supporting high-resolution playback up to PCM 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA.

Eddict Player | Companion App
Available for Android and iOS, the Eddict Player app uses the SyncLink feature to provide full control over USB playback. Browse your library and control playback conveniently from your smartphone.
