Active Subwoofers
Active subwoofers offer an incredibly efficient path to cinema-quality bass. Because the amplifier is perfectly matched to the driver at the factory, you are guaranteed optimal performance right out of the box. Connect one alongside a Peter Tyson digital streamer to feel the rhythmic drive of your favourite high-resolution tracks.
Key reasons to buy active subwoofers
Plug-and-Play Simplicity: Built-in amplification makes setup remarkably straightforward with a single connection to your AV receiver.
Perfectly Matched Components: The internal amplifier is expertly tuned to the specific driver to guarantee optimal low-end performance.
Independent Volume Control: Easily adjust the bass intensity on the fly to suit different media types or late-night listening without affecting the main speakers.
Possible alternatives to active subwoofers
Passive subwoofers are ideal if you already own external amplification. Large floorstanding speakers work well if you have limited space for an extra box.
