Shanling
Shanling
Shanling was founded in 1988 in China, launching its very first product that same year: the company's debut Hi-Fi stereo amplifier. Originally established within Jieyang Television University before relocating to Shenzhen's special economic zone in 1996, Shanling built its early reputation through steady, consistent innovation — developing equalisers with integrated LED spectrum displays, karaoke systems, and CD players using premium components, including Philips optical mechanisms, throughout the 1990s.
That relentless product development has carried Shanling through more than three decades of evolution, from traditional hi-fi amplifiers and CD/SACD players into today's high-resolution portable digital audio players, headphone amplifiers, and DAC/amp combinations. The company holds an extensive portfolio of patented technologies and licences, including Sony LDAC, Japanese Audio Association Hi-Res certification, and Dolby Digital, reflecting a genuine, sustained investment in R&D and craftsmanship.
Now based in Shenzhen with manufacturing in Dongguan, Shanling has grown into one of the largest and most respected portable audio manufacturers to come out of China, still guided by the same values its employees have held since 1988: integrity, innovation, team spirit, and hard work.
